Handcar, CPR station, Port Moody, BC

Port Moody was the original western Canada terminus for the Canadian Pacific Railway, before it went to Vancouver. The old station and some equipment are preserved as a heritage site. This hand operated "handcar" took a couple of workers along the track for maintenance jobs.

Steveston Cannery

Steveston, BC was once the centre of the Fraser River salmon fishing industry, docks, cannery's, shipyards, the works. Now most of the fish have disappeared and the business is a shadow of its former self. I drew some old cannery buildings.

Fun drawing day

Granville Island hotel boat dock.

Sat drawing in the sun at a coffee shop on Pacific Boulevard, watching the world go by. A very discerning gentleman passed behind me, looked at my drawing and complimented me on it. Made my day!

Warming up at Burrard and Davie.

Had a great day drawing around downtown Vancouver.
